Darbo24 Family privacy policy
In short: we store only what you enter yourself; your data is kept in the EU, visible only to your family, with no ads and no location tracking.
Who we are
The Darbo24 Family app (semya.darbo24.com) is made by Darbo24, Riga, Latvia. Questions about your data: info@darbo24.com.
What data we store
- your email address and password (encrypted) — to sign in;
- what you enter into the app yourself: names of family members, roles, a child’s age or date of birth, phone numbers (if provided), events, shopping, expenses and income, chores and stars, notes, photos of “best moments” and receipts;
- your device’s notification subscription — if you have turned notifications on.
What we don’t do
- we do not use location data: “Where is everyone?” is a status that each person sets themselves;
- we do not show ads or use advertising trackers;
- we do not sell data or share it for advertising.
Where data is stored
In the European Union: a Supabase database (Frankfurt, Germany). A backup is made every night to Darbo24’s Google Drive. A family’s data can be seen only by its members.
Who else processes data
- Darbo AI, powered by Claude (Anthropic) — only when you ask for a story, a receipt breakdown or tips of the day; only the necessary text or the receipt photo is sent;
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivering notifications to your phone;
- Open-Meteo — weather for the city you choose (without your personal data);
- Cloudflare — app hosting.
Kids
Children’s profiles are created and managed by parents. A child can use the app on a parent’s phone (“Who’s watching?”) or with their own login by a parent’s invitation. Children cannot see the “Money” section. A parent can change or delete a child’s profile at any time.
Your rights
You can view, correct or delete your data directly in the app. To delete your account and all your family’s data, email info@darbo24.com from the address you signed in with — we will delete it within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (www.dvi.gov.lv).
Changes
If we change this policy, the new version will be published on this page. Version dated 24 October 2026.
